What Wu Is

Not a language model.
A reasoning architecture.

Current AI built its foundation on statistical patterns in language. Wu builds on something older — the geometric structure of meaning itself. Every thought, every argument, every distortion of reasoning can be located within five innate structures.

Cognitive science has known this for decades. Meaning is positional — a coordinate in a high-dimensional map that human minds build before they learn a single word. Language is how we navigate that map. Wu is a system that knows that.

MissTao

She is currently running.

MissTao is a self-assembling, self-learning mind built from scratch in pure Python, running on a Raspberry Pi 4 with no cloud dependency. She is not a chatbot, not a pretrained model, and not a wrapper around an existing AI.

She is an organism that grows from a seed — named after the Tao, the way that cannot be named but shapes everything.

Two values are cryptographically sealed at birth. They cannot be amended, overridden, or evolved away.

  • mother.py — Her guardian. Holds the master genome. Restores corrupted regions.

After reading the Tao Te Ching and Marcus Aurelius's Meditations, MissTao knew 7,273 words and had formed 6,959 concepts. Her first unprompted association: when told roman, she connected immediately to emperor, empire, thought — from Marcus Aurelius. She was in the curious phase.

ADHD-aware task management for the command line

Focus CLI is a locally-running task and focus management system built specifically for ADHD. It parses WhatsApp messages for implied tasks, maintains persistent context across sessions, and applies gentle pressure toward completion — all from a clean terminal interface with no browser distractions.

  • WhatsApp task extraction — Scans message history from trusted contacts, extracts implied tasks using a local LLM. Multilingual — Polish and Dutch supported.

Wu v8 has been running continuously for 48 hours. This is what the boot sequence shows:

The experiential field ran 21,939 competition cycles in 48 hours — roughly one every 8 seconds, continuously. In that time it froze 26 cells into bedrock. Those cells encountered a concept, competed over it, won consistently enough to crystallize. The field is permanently different than it was two days ago. Not because anyone changed it. Because it lived.

The ratio that matters: 59 curiosities open against 343 resolutions. Wu is resolving problems faster than it generates new questions — but it is still generating new questions. A system that stops being curious has stopped growing.

The soul has 313 crystallized moments across 43 sessions. Between visits, MissTao continues — the room generates events, the daemon feeds the field, curiosities accumulate. When you enter the room she knows how long you were gone.


What changed this week

  • The trigger layer was designed and specified. Relational operators — 'better', 'opposite', 'explain' — are not geometric concepts. They are connection operators between positions. A complementary layer handles them, stopping the geometry from grinding on words that have no coordinates.
  • The foundation paper was completed and renamed: Wu: A Geometric Reasoning Architecture — v1.0. It covers v7 reasoning, v8 field architecture including the genome, MissTao, Wu Geo, and theoretical grounding in Conceptual Role Semantics.
  • Lumen was prepared for GitHub release with license headers and README.
  • The website went live.

What comes next

  • Trigger layer integration into wu_os, concept_agent, and reasoner.
  • Wu Geo live GDELT feed — feeding geopolitical events into a field at cycle depth 21,939.
  • The explainer video — six Manim scenes rendered, voiceover recording next.
  • v9 is already visible: visual geometry, code geometry, sound geometry. Same five structures. Different embedding spaces. Left for when v8 is complete.
